Working together with our new American Home business partner, Kami Buckwalter, we have realized our combined dreams to create American Home, a kitchen & bath design retail store that is 100% customer focused with an expert design staff, offering only the best products, at a great value for our customers. American Home & American Flooring is the cumulation of our dream to provide our customers with a one stop shopping experience that is unparalleled in the Greater Lansing Area. Kami Buckwalter

Kami has over 15 years of experience in the industry and a passion for continued growth. One of her favorite aspects of working in the kitchen and bath world is the final reveal and the pure joy of seeing a finished space come together for her clients. Her design style leans towards simple designs with neutrals and bold accents to make a statement.

Designer and Business Partner
Melissa Monaghan

Following in her father’s footsteps, Melissa started in kitchen and bath design over 15 years ago. She uses her experience and knowledge to help clients thrive in their dream renovations, making their house a home. Although she loves all styles, her favorite is the modern farmhouse, which she blends with a traditional vibe.

Designer
Kelly Lusis

Kelly fell in love with interior design as a child in her grandmother’s decorating showroom. She graduated from Central Michigan University with a BA in Interior Design. With over 18 years in the kitchen and bath industry, Kelly is skilled not only in creating beautiful spaces but has also developed strong technical and communication skills. Her personal style is Mid-Century Modern with a touch of Boho flair, but she loves helping her clients discover their own unique style.

Jen Sesniak

Jen grew up in the construction industry, learning from her dad, who ran his own construction company her whole life. After earning her interior design degree, she began her career in kitchen and bath design and now has over 20 years of experience. Her favorite part of designing for clients is combining form and function to create beautiful spaces that cater to her clients’ families and lifestyles. Jen loves the variety of designing in all different styles. Her personal style combines mid-century elements with natural accents and lots of plants!
